Kamali'i Elementary School
"Most schools will begin the 2nd quarter in the same learning format as the first quarter, which is virtual learning. Kamali‘i School will be in virtual learning at least through the first 4 weeks of the quarter. Families will be updated with the plan for the remainder of the 2nd quarter. The Virtual Learning Guidance document sets expectations for Teachers, Parents, and Students in our virtual learning sessions."
Kihei Charter School
"Aloha KCS 'Ohana,
Today we write with our latest updates.
As mentioned previously, we will proceed with our distance learning program to begin the second quarter. Furthermore, we will continue to safely allow on-campus access to vulnerable student populations.
We will also be sending a survey to families and secondary students for input on the first quarter experience. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated and help us to assess and monitor our program as we move forward.
Lastly, we will continue to track the local COVID-19 metrics and regulations, ongoing HSTA-state of Hawaii negotiation, and latest CDC and DOH guidance for the safe reopening of school campuses.
Please do not hesitate to contact any member of our administration if your family is experiencing any significant challenges at this time.
As always, we wish you the best and thank you for your support."
