Akamai Kids Club, Inc. (AKCI) is a student learning center committed to providing K through 5th grade children a sound, secure, safe and stable environment in which each child may achieve his or her potential. AKCI is where students (ages 5-12) are nurtured in a teacher-supervised environment to strive for academic excellence despite the challenges distance/online learning can present. If your student has questions while they're working on homework or weekly lessons provided by their school teacher (or homeschool curriculum), we'll have teachers onsite and prepared to assist them. Our teachers/staff reinforce distance learning lessons in all grade levels, K-5th. Students are encouraged to ask questions and then they are given the skills to find the answers. The journey to finding the answer is joyful and learning becomes exciting while creating a sense of accomplishment. During enrichment activities, students work individually or in small groups. Our members can work at their own pace and learn accountability, independence and social graces. PE, Music, Gardening, Home Economics, Marine Science and Art are integrated into the weekly schedule as enrichment classes. The teachers and staff take a "Whole Child Approach" to bring the world into the student center and the student center into the world.
Akamai Kids Club shall not discriminate in the delivery of student services on the bases of race, religion, and gender or national/ethnic origin. Families must remain current with all financial obligations in order to continue to receive education services at Akamai Kids Club, Inc.

Keeping our student learning center safe allows children to look forward to being in an encouraging environment that promotes academic, social and creative learning. AKCI has created an open space for kids to explore, learn and grow.

She has eight years of teaching experience in Japan, two years in Africa, and countless more working in California's Elementary Education, in Colorado as a Primary classroom assistant in several Montessori preschools, and in Virginia as a lead teacher for E.Nopi, a supplementary education system. She has served the both the preschool aged population as well as the Elementary population here on Maui. In her free time she enjoys adventuring the island with her son and learning more about the Hawaiian culture and language.
